They have over 100 years combined experience in Farmland and Timberland acquisition, lending, development, valuation, and production management. The management team’s extensive background in complex land projects has afforded them the knowledge and technical skills to maximize returns through production improvements, marketability, diversification, easements, highest and best use, and recreation potential. The Heritage Capital team has built a network of highly reliable contacts and has long-standing relationships with farmers throughout the Mississippi Alluvial Valley and the Mid-South region. Our Team
Jacob Sartain
Jacob leads the Company’s agriculture investment and development division with a focus on properties in the alluvial valley of the Mississippi River where he has completed over 85,000 acres of land investments. His expertise aside from his expansive sales portfolio, is agriculture asset infrastructure projects.
Rob Coker
Rob is the Director of Farmland Operations and leads the active management strategy. Rob is a fourth generation MS Delta farmer and is well versed in the many agricultural practices that make land ownership profitable. Rob is one of only two Accredited Farm Managers living in Mississippi.
Joe Mallard
Joe leads the company’s Timberland investment division. Joe’s has an extensive background in Ag & Timberland lending as well as a forestry degree from Mississippi State University. Joe oversees the company’s analytics and strategic management of all the firm's land assets. He is also a past president of the Mississippi Forestry Association.
Ray Kinney
Ray is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and Real Estate Broker licensed in numerous states throughout the Southeast. Ray’s appraisal career has centered around complex projects in the recreation, Timberland, Agriculture, and Conservation sectors. Numerous State and Federal Agencies, as well as large corporations such as British Petroleum (BP), Exxon Mobil, and Bridgestone U.S.A., along with non-profits like The Nature Conservancy and Ducks Unlimited, have relied on Ray for expert knowledge and guidance.
Stacey Penn
Stacey’s professional career has involved her in Agriculture and Real estate-related fields including farm management, logistics planning, and accounting. Additionally Stacey formerly worked at the USDA Farm Service Agency.
